Modular design
M4 PLANT comprises several modules that cover individual maintenance groups, functional areas or interfaces. Right from installation, M4 PLANT has a scalable engineering solution that can be either installed as it is or customised as per individual requirements. An installation can always be extended with additional modules and thereby with additional maintenance groups, functions or interfaces. Individual multi-user scenarios and collaboration solutions can be implemented later.
Flexible licence management
The software of CAD Schroer contains an extensive and extremely flexible licence management module. Single-user licences can be allocated to individual users or network licences can be allocated to multiple users. In addition, network licences allow a higher distribution of the software in the company and therefore increases the overall utilisation of individual licences. Licences from the licence pool can be additionally hired for individual software solutions; this allows sales representatives to present the entire scope to the customers.
Flexible installation scenarios
The system architecture of M4 PLANT is extremely flexible and can be individually adapted as per the system environment of a company. The company can decide whether the software should be operated as a standard installation on a single PC or as a network installation on a drive shared in the network. Modifications in the software, e.g. company-specific styles, catalogues or additional functions can be managed centrally and made available to individual users. M4 PLANT also allows scenarios for collaborations across multiple international locations.
Collaboration of multiple locations
Multiple teams across different locations can use M4 PLANT to execute projects. The Project Data Control (PDC) ensures an integrated data exchange between individual locations and always maintains the project data up-to-date. M4 PLANT also provides versatile interfaces to forward data to other systems and the option to sent individual project databases in an extremely company form.
