Answer: The variables: PDM_LDB_PATH and INTRALINK_DIR in the < STHENO-Installation >\master_project\medilink\command\login.bat, file must be defined anew. The variable PDM_LDB_PATH directs to the directory in which the file local.ddb is located. This is the local Workspace-data base from Pro/INTRALINK. Variables, e.g. for the usernames, can be given in form of: {USERNAME}. Example: PDM_LDB_PATH d:\{USERNAME}\intralink\workspace The variable INTRALINK_DIR directs to the directory in which the Pro/INTRALINK Client is installed. Example: INTRALINK_DIR c:\programme\proiclient32 The file type: - STHENO_sheet with the extension: - *.tsh must be created, so that Pro/INTRALINK files of the *.tsh type will be accepted. The text will typically start with the word “set” and the final line will read “call C:\STHENO_Vx_x\master_project\login.bat” c.) Question: Is it possible to cut out a small part of some geometry, and display it at a larger scale on another part of the drawing? Answer: Yes. This requires the use of two features of STHENO/PRO, the 'Edit->Area Copy' and the 'Special Scale Area' commands. Under the EDIT pull-down menu are the commands 'Area Cut' and 'Area Copy'. The 'Drawing areas with a special scale' tool is on the toolbar and allows the user to assign a special scale to a marked area of the sheet. The workflow is as follows: First define the 'special scale area' on the sheet.

Question: If I've modified my STHENO/PRO desktop and/or defaults so features and functions no longer work, or just want to get my desktop back to square one - how do I reset it? Answer: When you exit STHENO/PRO, modifications you've made to the desktop or defaults are automatically saved in a folder called < STHENO_Install_Directory >/master_project/User/< Your user name > to be loaded when you restart. To reset, quit STHENO/PRO, delete this folder and restart. You can save the files found in this directory for recall, or give them to other users. Create a COMMON folder and copy the files into it to set the defaults for new users. Lock down privileges on User folder if you don't want users to change company defaults. You can set the defaults saving mode from the switches tab on the Option>Defaults pull down. |
