Headquartered in Karlsruhe, the company specialises in aerial ladders and heavy-duty rescue platforms for fire trucks, offering custom solutions and patented safety technology, saving thousands of lives every year.

Metz Aerials has a firm Pro/ENGINEER strategy, but also needed a powerful 2D tool for efficient drawing creation and editing, as well as to ensure continued use of its legacy 2D data, which represents a significant proportion of the company’s IPR.

For over 45 years, the Italian manufacturer Verderio Impianti has been in the business of providing installations to abattoirs. Its projects range from supplying single machines to delivering fully automated process plants.

All of the company’s product development phases – from research and development,over production and assembly, to delivery and commissioning – are handled by Verderio Impianti’s staff members in close collaboration with external suppliers.

Verderio Impianti’s technical design department uses Pro/ENGINEER® as its leading CAD system, with Pro/INTRALINK® for data management and Arbortext® IsoDraw for its technical documentation.
