The HVAC design software MPDS4 DUCTING DESIGN is an optional MPDS4 PLANT DESIGN system module. Powerful routing tools allow users to load, position and replace 3D heating, ventilation and air conditioning ducts and components, either manually or automatically, in plants, factories or large assemblies.
The catalogs provided contain many different types of ducts, valves, fans and other supporting components. They are user extensible and customisable. One unique feature of the ducting catalog is the ability to “special” standard components, for instance to cut back a bend, or to set a special transition piece offset, avoiding the need to add “one off” components to the catalog.
Integrated consistency checking and hard and soft clash detection ensure high quality results. Automatically generated reports, BOM and parts lists can be used to monitor project profitability.
