What’s New in MEDEA 2010
MEDEA addresses all phases of the electrical design process. From the first input of data to the final documentation for manufacture of the complete design, MEDEA works hard to automate time-consuming and costly repetitive tasks through its complete data management service. Many of the new tools and enhancements introduced with MEDEA 2010 focus on even more efficient data management, context sensitive design and optimised editing. The main highlights of the latest release are listed below:
Context-sensitive Design
From version 2010 the connecting-pins are automatically launched whenever a black box is created.
Optimised Editing
The selection, visibility and editing of geometry on drawings using grid lines has been further optimised.
Enhanced Data Management
A new tool for managing drawing sets, with the ability to renumber drawings using offset values if a new design is inserted, is now available.
Custom Settings for Easier Application
Default settings, such as the file browser display, can now be individually configured for clarity and ease of use.
Multi-User Design Using Subdirectories
MEDEA 2010 now support concurrent working in any number of project subdirectories, with the ability to restrict access to other subdirectories or copy projects between working directories.
